Enquiries. When you use the enquiry form, your email programme sends us the details you have written — typically your name, email address, wedding date, location and what you need help with. We use this to answer you and to plan your wedding. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

The quiz. Your quiz answers stay in your browser and are only sent to us if you choose to contact us afterwards.

Cookies and similar technologies. See the cookie section below. Legal basis: your consent, except for strictly necessary storage.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Strictly necessary. A single entry stored in your browser remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again. No consent is required for this.

Analytics. Optional. Only set if you accept them, so we can see which pages and venues couples find most useful.

Marketing. Optional and currently unused. If we ever add them, they would only be set with your consent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — it is as easy to refuse as to accept.

Change my cookie preferences

We share only what is necessary with the people delivering your wedding — venues, photographers, florists, stylists and other suppliers you approve — and with our email and website providers, who act on our instructions. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to 24 months. Wedding files are kept for the duration of our work together and for up to 10 years afterwards, where Italian tax and accounting law requires it. Cookie consent records are kept for up to 12 months.

Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out beforehand.

Write to info@theweddingzillas.com and we will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or to the authority in your country of residence.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we limit access to the people who need it. If we update this notice, we will change the date below and, where the change is significant, ask for your consent again.
